What is Bobcat On Demand?
Hopefully our name is self-explanatory enough; but if not here's a quick explanation: We supply "bobcats" (compact loaders), as you need them; "on demand".
What is a "bobcat"?
For the benefit of those not in the construction industry, we offer this brief explanation: "Bobcat" is the commonly used name to describe the popular all-wheel drive loaders (more technically called "skid steers") which are seen on jobsites all over. The machines do not have steering like a car's, rather they turn by skidding their wheels. This allows the machine to have great maneuverability - it can literally spin on a dime. And because these machines as compact, they can fit into many areas that larger excavators cannot. We stock bobcats in a full range - from the larger sized models (at 6 feet wide, and capable of lifting a tonne or more), down to the tiny, but effective 3-foot wide versions that can go almost anywhere. The machines are just the right size to make transport to jobsites practical, even if the job is small having a bobcat do it is a cost-effective way of getting it done. What makes us unique?
A number of things. For one, we offer you the choice of renting the bobcat on its own, or, better yet - we'll supply it to you with an expert operator to run it for you. Thereby you get the full benefit of the machine, since it is being run by someone who knows how to utilize it to its full potential - you get more done, faster, more efficiently, safely and the results are far more accurate - your grading, excavating, or whatever is being done is done better and with less waste of materials, etc. You'll spend less on haulage costs, spend less money on repairing damage done to your building and jobsite, and so forth, using our expert operator, versus trying to run the machine yourself, or some other inexperienced "weekend expert".
A second thing that makes us unique - renting bobcats, mini-excavators and their attachments is all we do. We aren't contractors, so we aren't preoccupied with our own projects, as you may find other bobcat services (who are really contractors) are. Call us today, and we'll be out tomorrow - almost always (but call as far in advance as you can anyway).

Next, we are unique in our structure: We aren't a one-location operation. As you can see by looking over our service area maps, we are a multi-branch operation. We have franchises operating in many areas in Southern Ontario, beyond the GTA. And in time we expect to be servicing other provinces and states. By having many outlets we are better able to respond to your needs rapidly, and from a nearby location - increasing speed of delivery and reducing travel and delivery costs. Bear in mind too that with each branch being independently owned and operated, you have an operator and branch manager who has a personal vested interest in your satisfaction, something you may not get out of a salaried employee.
And this brings up our final point; we offer great service! A bit more about us...
Our company's roots go back to 1989, as a one-branch location based in Brampton, Ontario, As said, we now have numerous branches throughout Ontario and are rapidly expanding through franchising. Each branch is separately owned and operated by a hands-on owner-manager, who is in most cases, himself an experienced machine operator. Billing questions, receivables, and payables, questions pertaining to GST and WSIB numbers, the ordering of parts and equipment, hiring of employees/personnel and other such issues are handled at the individual branch level, and questions should be directed directly to the branch in question. The franchisor, BOD On Demand Corp, is responsible for this website, handles dispatch operations, promotion and development of the franchising system and network, and matters pertaining to advertising and promotion of our services and brand. Any jobsite issues or concerns may be directed to us to assist in resolution - as we are keenly interested in all our customers' satisfaction - but ultimate responsibility and resolution to any issues beyond those stated as being within our scope (ie the website, advertising, etc.) will rest upon the individual branch and its local ownership entirely.
