Our Policies
Bobcat On Demand Policies.
Please take a moment to look over a summary of our common-sense
Primary Policies. By your being familiar with them we know we will have a
better working relationship together. For the full version or more details
please call our office or consult our website.
1. Remember that we are an HOURLY SERVICE and that we work for you, by
the hour. You need to plan the project, oversee and take responsibility for
the work, including ordering the right machinery in the first place.
2. Each branch and operator is an INDEPENDENTLY OWNED and operated
franchise or affiliate. These are licensed to operate under the Bobcat On
Demand banner, but each have individual owners and are incorporated/
registered under their own specific location name. As such each are solely
and fully liable and responsible for all activities related to the providing of serviced to you Bobcat On Demand Ltd is not.
3. All services provided are paid for to the operator C.O.D. on site before the equipment leaves. Most locations accept cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
4. Any day we are floating equipment to your site, the best we can offer you as to a START TIME is when we get there, due to traffic, mechanical and other factors beyond our control. If the operator is en route to you by the typical 7 AM, we can be at most sites by about 8 to 8:30 AM.
5. We work RAIN OR SHINE, and due to the large area we serve which can
be having different weather, and variables regarding your schedule, jobsite
and ground working conditions, we leave the decision as to whether you
want us to come or not to you. Be advised, though that we are en route to
you by 7 AM and are coming to you if we haven't heard from you before that
time. We will not initiate a call to check first and if you do want to cancel but don't do so before 7 AM, our minimum daily charges will apply.
6. Anytime we are excavating or drilling we require full UTILITY LOCATES
done first. You will be responsible for anything we hit with a non-existent, inaccurate or incomplete stakeout. The Law specifically requires Natural Gas locates before any digging is done, and the operator must physically hold the locator's paper report including diagram in his hand. Otherwise he may refuse to dig, and minimum charges will still apply.
7. For work done between Nov. and April please inquire about further
WINTER POLICIES (frozen ground, snow removal service, etc.)
